A Photo and Information about My Confirmation Sponsor and Why I Choose my Sponsor:
My Confirmation sponsor is my sister Victoria Ventura. I chose Victoria as my Confirmation sponsor because she attended a Catholic Middle School, High School and College. She was married in a Catholic Church. She is deeply rooted in her faith. She attended mass as a child at Our Lady of Grace Parish in Howard Beach. Now, as an adult she attends mass at St. Anne's Church in Garden City. My sister and I have a very strong bond. I often find myself going to her when I need advice or help. She is a very generous and friendly person. She always encourages me to grow in my faith.
Explanation of my Confirmation name and why I chose it:
The name I chose for my confirmation name is Michael. Michael is a extremely important name to me. St. Michael is the Patron Saint of Police Officers. St. Michael is also the Saint of all fighters and he is the one who fights the devil. This name means a lot to me because I hope to one day be in the Air Force. This also means a lot to me because my father is a detective in the NYPD and St. Michael watches over him. This is why I picked the name Michael.
