Do this in memory of me."

What is Adoration?
Adoration is the practice of worshiping our Lord in the Eucharist outside the context of the Mass. The Sacred Host is placed in a monstrance for the faithful to adore the Lord. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us". During Eucharistic Adoration, we "watch and wait", we remain "silent" in His Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist ... By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us.
The Times that Adoration is offered at Kellenberg and my Parish:
At Kellenberg the ARK sponsors First Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament during the school day in the Maria Regina Chapel. All members of the Kellenberg Memorial Family are welcome to attend. The Eucharistic Ministers will sponsor a prayer experience to begin Adoration during each period of the school day. Aoration is offered at Our Lady of Grace Parish every Wednesday at 7:30pm-8:30pm.
A Eucharistic Miracle that has happened in the Church's History:
In the 8th century, a priest in Lanciano, Italy was experiencing doubts about the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. In the middle of saying Mass, he said the words of consecration (“This is my body,” “This is my blood") and saw the bread and wine transform into real human flesh and blood. The blood coagulated into five globules (later believed to be representative of the five wounds of Christ). Word of the miracle quickly spread, the local archbishop launched an investigation, and the Church approved the miracle.
